Woman diagnosed with cancer releases powerful song in aid of charity
Claire Hayden was diagnosed with cancer last year, and decided to create this powerful song called 'Piece by Piece' in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.
The 39-year-old mother of two from Bantry Co. Cork wrote the hopeful track during her treatment of Breast Cancer last year.
"It's been some year, and I'm finally delighted to be able to share with you a song I wrote in the middle of my own treatment of Breast Cancer.." Claire Hayden wrote on Facebook.
Claire had previously been going through chemotherapy, and is currently coming out the right side of the disease.
"This is a new chapter for me, and I'm hoping that this song will help inspire others who have been diagnosed.
"I'm doing really good and hoping to put cancer in a box and put it away forever."
The song is available to buy on Itunes and all other major music platforms with proceeds going to Breast Cancer Ireland.
