U2’s Bono and the Edge support Ukraine with gig in Kyiv bomb shelter

U2 stars Bono and the Edge have shown their support for Ukraine by playing a gig from a bomb shelter in Kyiv. The singer and lead guitarist of the Irish rock band were invited to play by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, according to a post on U2’s Twitter page. They played to a small crowd of Ukrainian fans, including members of the besieged nation’s armed forces.
