'The odds are stacked against us' - Fun Shop owner's fears over surviving lockdown

Shay Howlin, owner of Fun Shop Ltd in Dublin, the oldest fancy dress shop in the city, has said that the 'odds are stacked against them' for surviving the lockdown. The shop has been operating on King Street south for over forty years. Coronavirus and the imposed shutdown of small businesses not selling 'essential items' has created huge economic losses, which many will not recover from.
