Taliban and UK officials open talks over allowing people to leave Afghanistan

UK officials and the Taliban are in talks over how to secure “safe passage” out of Afghanistan for British nationals and Afghan allies. The Labour Party says thousands are still stuck in the country and are in need of safe passage out.
