Stormont ministers to decide on ‘additional asks’ to stem latest Covid wave

Cases are already increasing in Northern Ireland ahead of the expected peak following the arrival of the Omicron variant in the region earlier this month. Stormont Health Minister Robin Swann said Northern Ireland is a number of days behind London and Scotland, but he expects to see a further increase in cases, and urged the public to get vaccinated and boosted.
