Nicola Sturgeon ‘profoundly concerned’ by Omicron as variant set to become dominant in Scotland

First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon says she is “profoundly concerned” by Omicron variant, which she is advised will be the dominant variant in Scotland by tomorrow. She urges people to reduce unnecessary contact and says she’s written to the Prime Minister to urge him to enact support schemes.
