Japan warns of threat to international security after 'unprecedented' North Korea missile test

Japanese Defence Minister Nobuo Kishi on Sunday said the missile fired by North Korea earlier in the day had been the country's longest-range test of a ballistic weapon since 2017. Mr Kishi said the "unprecedented frequency" of North Korea's missile firings this year and its significant advancement of its missile technology was "posing a threat for the peace and safety of Japan and the region".
