Homes destroyed in fast-moving California blaze

What started as a grass fire on August 18 swiftly blew up to threaten the city of Clearlake, which is about 80 miles north of San Francisco. Authorities reported the fire at 1pm local time and within an hour dozens of homes had burned. The blaze is spurred by winds of up to 30 miles per hour.
