Good Morning Britain cleared by Ofcom over Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan

The television regulator Ofcom has found that Piers Morgan did not break any rules when making comments about the Duchess of Sussex and her intentions in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. The former Good Morning Britain host's comments were found to be “potentially harmful and offensive” but did not breach the broadcasting code, due to rights of freedom of expression. Morgan had accused Meghan of lying about how she was treated by the royal family when she asked for help with her mental health after revealing that she felt suicidal at times.
