Footage shows a large amount of discharge along The Long Walk in Galway

A video posted by Galway-based Social Democrats Councillor Cllr. Owen Hanley shows a large amount of discharge along The Long Walk in Galway.

The footage is down as being taken on the 16th of October, and shows an overhead perspective.

Cllr. Owen Hanley wrote on Twitter: "This video shows the discharge at the Long Walk, from an EPA licensed discharge point.

"The number of discharges here have increased and it's a concerning sight.

"Council has updated that works took place in June to install a new tideflex valve."
