First refugee elected in Glasgow as SNP finish as biggest party in Scotland
More than two decades after arriving in Scotland as a refugee, Roza Salih was voted into office, as an SNP councillor for the Greater Pollok ward. The new SNP councillor for the Greater Pollok ward in Glasgow was congratulated by Nicola Sturgeon.
