Faithful puppy waits by roadside with dog struck by car in heart-warming footage

A young dog stayed loyally beside another dog for more than six hours who was seriously injured after a collision on a highway. The dogs were spotted by a postman, who asked for help on Facebook because he couldn't stop himself to give aid. Samantha Zimmer and her fiancé went to find the animals and were able to gain their trust with a can of sausages. The puppy, named Corey, and the injured dog, named Matthew - given these names by their rescuers — were taken to Houston for treatment and will make a full recovery.
