covid impact Drogheda salon owner describes the 'horrible' moment he had to close his business due to lockdown

'There were mornings I had to force myself to get up,' says David Murray, salon owner of @21 on Fair Street, in Drogheda, Ireland.

'I just couldn't believe it was happening,' says David, describing the horrifying moment of lockdown and what this would mean for his business.

He has six staff to support and what it would mean for their lives, as well as his own, has been compounded by the uncertainty of how long lockdown will last.

David credits running, and movement in general, as keeping him sane.
