Chaotic scenes at Kabul airport as thousands try to flee

Chaotic scenes continued at Kabul airport on Friday night as military personnel contained large crowds of would-be evacuees seeking a way out of Afghanistan. Video images showed people gathered in the dark outside the barbed wire-topped walls of the airport. Occasional streams of gunshots could be heard.
