British police officer found guilty of assaulting boy wrongly accused of stealing bicycle
West Midlands Police
Video released by West Midlands Police shows Pc Declan Jones assaulting a cyclist during last year's first Covid lockdown.
The assault took place on April 20 last year in the Aston area of Birmingham after the victim was wrongly accused of stealing a bicycle.
Pc Jones will be sentenced on September 10 for the assault and an attack on a 15-year-old boy in Birmingham on April 21 last year.
