Basking sharks captured off Mayo coast in stunning drone footage

Photographer Terry McDonagh was shooting landscapes in Keem Bay, Achill earlier this month, when he came across two basking sharks.  He told Independent.ie: "I decided to get the van and head to Achill once restrictions had eased, to do some landscape photography. "I studied marine biology, so I knew they (basking sharks) could be around this time of year." Using his drone, Terry waited for the pair to move to turquoise water, where they would appear more prominent on camera.
