WATCH: Raymond van Barneveld rolls back the years with a stunning nine-darter
Raymond van Barneveld reacts during his 1st round match against Lourence Ilagan during The William Hill World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace last night.
Raymond van Barneveld has struggled to hit the heights since his return to darts last year, but he rolled back the years with a stunning nine-dart finish in the Players Championship on Saturday.
The former world champion found his range in perfect fashion against Adam Hunt, in an event played without fans and available to fans who subscribe to the darts channel.
All the world's top players are taking part in the event in Germany, with Gerwen Price and Rob Cross among the big names taking part on Saturday.
Yet it was Barneveld's nine-darter that caught the eye, as he finished on double 12 to complete a clinical three visits to the board.
