Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in Norwegian wonderkid, Erling Braut Haaland, his agent Mino Raiola has confirmed.

The Borussia Dortmund attacker alongside Jadon Sancho and other BVB stars lit up the Bundesliga in recent years and despite their struggles in the Bundesliga this season, the 20-year-old has still impressed.

It was reported in February, that a release clause would be activated in 2022 and clubs could enter negotiations if they triggered the €75 million price tag, but there continues to be rumours suggesting he could move this summer.

The latest development in the saga dubbed 'biggest of the summer, if not years' in the Sky Sports Pitch to Post podcast headed by Jasper Taylor, Dharmesh Sheth and Gerard Brand.

Sheth said: "His agent Mino Raiola has said that four Premier League clubs would be interested in doing a deal: Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool."

Finding the back of the net has been a problem for the Premier League champions since the turn of the calendar year and now the son of former Leeds defender Alf-Inge Håland has been tipped with a move to Anfield.

On the topic of Haaland and a Merseyside switch, Gerard Brand said: "Liverpool haven't been shy in spending in the past - they spent a combined £150m on a defender and goalkeeper in Van Dijk and Alisson - and I'm not sure we realise just how big a name Jurgen Klopp still is in Dortmund, and how that might have an impact.

"Could he come in and replace Roberto Firmino? I don't think it's an impossibility, but this will come down to finances and the desire to sign Haaland because I actually think he'd want to play for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool. In short, every team has their little advantage in this race."

The hints from Haaland's agent back up comments from former Liverpool striker John Aldridge, who told the Sunday World that the youngster is the striker Klopp needs to sign.

"Roberto Firmino's form has been a concern for some time, so I would encourage Liverpool to do all they can to sign Erling Haaland next summer," Alrdidge told us.

"Liverpool don't have a Plan B option in their forward line and as we have seen with their slump in form over the last few weeks, they don't have a back-up plan when Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are not firing.

"A player like Haaland would give them that variation and while he would cost in excess of £100m to sign from Dortmund, he is the man I'd like to see Liverpool go for."
