Roy Keane has become a social media sensation with his Instagram account and now he is offering up fashion advice to his vast army of followers.

Former Manchester United and Republic of Ireland captain Keane has been an outspoken critics of players posting messages on social media accounts in recent years, but his move on to Instagram has proved to be a huge hit.

He has already attracted 1.2million followers in double quick time and his account is now a highly lucrative commercial opportunity, with advertisers certain to be interested in using his active following to reach out to their customers.

For now, Keane has been using his Instagram account to post quirky messages, with his previous message showing he was ready to hit back at his adversaries as he appeared to fire a jab at Niall Quinn for suggested he was given 'special treatment' in the Ireland set-up.

Now Keane has posted a selfie before he went out for a bike ride, with a message to suggest he would not be wearing any skin tight clothing.

Each and every Keane message is attracting huge interest and as he has always been the competitive type, he may be pleased to note that he has already attracted more Instagram followers than his former United team-mate and fellow Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
