Tottenham have used Harry Kane among their publicity images to launch next season's new home kit, even though rumours continue to swirl suggesting he is keen to quit the club this summer.

Kane finished the Premier League season as the top scorer and Golden Boot winner for a third time in his career, with his personal trophies the only success Spurs could toast amid a miserable campaign.

Widespread reports suggest Kane is eyeing up a move to sign for newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City, yet he has been promoted by Tottenham as their chief poster boy for their new kit launch.

It remains to be seen whether Kane will ever wear the kit in a competitive match, with the £105 price tag also created something of a stir on social media platforms.

There is a cheaper version of the shirt at a slightly more affordable £70, with a full version of the 'elite' kit that will be worn by the Tottenham players next season costing £185 (€214).

Interim Spurs boss Ryan Mason refused to answer questions on Kane's future after he took charge of his final game as Spurs boss on Sunday at Leicester, as he instead opted to congratulate the striker on his latest Golden Boot win.

"I think he's been the best player in the Premier League. Most goals and most assists, it says it all," said Mason.

"I feel very honoured to have played with him and we had some amazing experiences together, coming through the ranks, and I've been very fortunate in these past five weeks to have coached him, to have managed him and he turned up again today.

"He scored important goals in important moments and showed moments of brilliance. So from an individual point of view I'm very pleased Harry has got another Golden Boot to add to the collection."
