The records keep tumbling for Cristiano Ronaldo and he reached another remarkable milestone as his two goals gave Manchester United a win against Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Ronaldo blasted his 800th goal of a remarkable career as Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford, adding an 801st goal from the penalty spot to win the game, with Alan Shearer leading the chorus of acclaim.
"What Ronaldo is doing is incredible," declared the Premier League's all-time record score on Amazon Prime. "You have to put that into perspective... 801 goals.
"You have just got to sit there and go wow, applaud the guy. His determination and commitment are incredible. His drive, his determination, he is wealthy, to keep on performing at the level he does is just phenomenal."
Ronaldo's 800th goals puts him well ahead of his great rival Lionel Messi in the scoring stakes, as the Paris Saint-Germain star is currently sitting on a total of 756 goals.
The only other players from the modern era who has scored 500 or more goals are Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic (570), Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski (572) and Atletico Madrid's Luiz Suarez (512).
