Warren Feeney has signed Northern Ireland U-21 striker Kirk Millar.

The 22-year-old Shankill Road man was released by Feeney's former club Oldham Athletic in May.

He has played ten times for the U-21 team, can play either centrally or in a wide area and Feeney is delighted to have got his man.

"I am pleased to announce the signing of Kirk Millar on a 2 year contract," said the Linfield boss.  "He's a winger / striker who came through our Academy, before moving across to Oldham Athletic.

"I have known Kirk from my own days at Oldham. He's got lots of ability and he can play anywhere across the front line or just behind the front line.

"He's an intelligent player who's at a great age. He has experience of league and conference football in England and he's a player I've wanted from day one."
