Ruby Walsh picks his winners from a packed card on Grand National day at Aintree

It's Grand National weekend at Aintree and legendary former jockey Ruby Walsh has given his verdict on the big races for Saturday.

Speaking on Paddy Power's From The Horse's Mouth podcast, here are his tips, with the Grand National set to get underway at 5.15pm.

13.45 - Southfield Harvest

Prior to the Aintree meeting, Paul Nicholls' horses were in outstanding form and I've gone for SOUTHFIELD HARVEST here. He was badly hampered by a faller at the first at Newbury the last day, but still managed to get to the front - although he didn't get home. That was down to him having to exert himself regaining position, and Harry Cobden rides him here. He's a tentative choice.

14.25 - Ballyadam

I'm landing on BALLYADAM here. He's been running in to Appreciate It on his last few starts, and they've come to Aintree to avoid him at Punchestown. He's going to find life a hell of a lot easier because to that.

15.00 - Shishkin

SHISHKIN's price is just based on whether he will get round. If he gets round, he wins.

15.35 - Thyme Hill

I was in the THMYME HILL camp prior to him missing Cheltenham, as I thought he could turn around the form on Paisley Park. And Paisley Park has had that gruelling race at Cheltenham behind Flooring Porter, which only makes me more keen. Aintree should suit Thyme Hill, while there isn't a massive amount of pace in the race.

16.15 - Snow Leopardess

I backed Happygolucky at the Cheltenham Festival but he just didn't jump well enough. There is as much, if not more jumping here, and maybe he will be better for that run but I just wasn't keen on what I saw. I'm going for one at a price - SNOW LEOPARDESS - who won at Haydock in November when she beat Commodore and was then second to Canelo in the Rowland Meyrick. She ran reasonably well at Cheltenham behind Galvin, Next Destination and Escaria Ten so I'm going each-way here.

Grand National - 17.15 - Burrows Saint/Class Conti (EW)

I wouldn't put anybody off CLASS CONTI each-way, and I think Brian Hayes is a good addition on his back. BURROWS SAINT has a great chance, and when I rode him in the 2019 Irish Grand National I thought he had Aintree written all over him. I would just like to see him in a little bit better form on track coming here. He looks great at home but I would love to have seen him win the Bobbyjo. Acapella Bourgeois beat him, and that would be my slight concern, while Class Conti just has a sneaky profile to run a big race.

I will also be shouting for ANY SECOND NOW, as he is in great form for my dad. Dad is so passionate about it, and puts himself under so much pressure. He's very happy with the horse's preparation, and he thinks the horse will stay.

Ruby Walsh's Aintree bet summary - Saturday, April 10

14.25 - Ballyadam

15.00 - Shishkin
