Jake Paul has slammed Tommy Fury’s father after the English boxer was forced to pull out of their upcoming bout.

Paul and Tommy Fury were due to go head to head in the ring on December 18th at a pay per-view event in Tampa, Florida.

However, former Love Island star Tommy pulled out of the match earlier this week due to a severe chest infection and a broken rib.

After taking many swipes at Tommy for the move, Jake Paul has now focused on his rival’s father, John Fury.

“You’re a cringe old man, nothing really changes,” Paul told talkSPORT.

“He’s an old, miserable man who never accomplished anything in his life,” he said.

“He has a mediocre boxing record and the best thing he ever did was have sex with Tyson’s mum to spawn Tyson - that’s his only accomplishment, having a giant kid who became the heavyweight champion of the world.”

When quizzed about whether or not he would fly to the UK to fight John Fury he said: “I would fight John Fury, for sure.”

“I think it would be hilarious,” he added.

At a press conference last month, Tommy and John appeared alongside Tyson Fury while Jake Paul dialed in from a pool where he sat drinking cocktails.

John leapt at the screen and told Paul: “You thank your lucky stars that I’m banned from your country, ‘cos I’d get you and I’d slap you.”

“I was hoping he would punch the TV [during their press conference],” Jake said.

“If he did that it would have been one of the most legendary press conference moments ever, so he’s kind of a p**sy for not.”

Speaking about the cancellation of their fight, Jake Paul said he was “upset” by the news as he wanted to “knock [Tommy] out.”

“I wanted to make him bleed and eat the canvas.”

“That is the most satisfying part when your opponent has a lot to say and you just knock them out and embarrass them in front of the whole world,” he said.

“I’m a little bit p****d off I’m not able to do that. The kid is scared. The kid cracked under pressure.”

The 24-year-old former YouTuber jibed at the Mancunian boxer, after calling him ‘Tommy Fumbles’ online.

“The whole fight build-up got to him and now he fumbled the biggest opportunity of his life, the biggest pay day of his life.

“He’s going to have to return all the Christmas presents he got Molly [Tommy’s girlfriend] as he has no way of paying for them.”

Taking to Instagram after the news that the fight was off emerged, Tommy Fury said he is focused on getting a new fight date set.

“I'm just going to recover now and hopefully we can work out a new date next year.”

“When it comes down to it, there's nothing I can do about being medically unfit to fight.”

While Tommy can no longer appear at the event, it is still set to go ahead as Jake Paul will take on another one of his rivals, Tyson Woodely.

Tyson Woodley and Jake Paul clashed earlier this year in August.

The fight saw Paul win the match in a split decision after the eight-round seeing Paul recording the biggest win of his career.

The pair will now go another round on December 18th.
