The heavyweight champion said that Athena, who has been in and out of the intensive care unit in Alder Hey hospital, was “doing well”.
"Update for everyone,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “Athena is doing well and has had a stable day off ventilator.
"Thanks to everyone for the prayers, still in ICU for now. Thanks to all the doctors and nurses. God bless you all."
It has been a tough week for Fury and his wife Paris since they welcomed baby Athena, their sixth child and third daughter, into the world.
He announced the baby's birth with this message on Sunday evening: "Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning. Athena Fury born 8/8/21. Thanks. God is great."
On Tuesday he posted again that the baby had returned to the ICU at the hospital, with his wife Paris providing another emotional update on Wednesday afternoon that Athena was making progress via her Instagram story.
Paris shared a video of the baby alongside the caption: "My beautiful baby girl this morning.
"More awake now and sucking her dummy. She has a big day today. Please God, it goes well."
Paris had revealed that the baby was likely to be born prematurely owing to a personal condition on an episode of Loose Women.
She said: "I usually have a condition that makes the babies come a bit earlier so it will probably be the beginning of August, which is better for me, the last few weeks are terrible!"
The couple have been married since 2009 and are doting parents to daughters Venezuela, 11, and three-year-old Valencia Amber and sons Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four and Prince Adonis, one.
Last month Tyson’s scheduled fight against Deontay Wilder was postponed after the boxer tested positive for Covid.
The boxer himself and his cousin and assistant coach Andy Lee both came down with the virus.
It will now take place in October.
