Sky have released a teaser for the upcoming sequel to Sex and the City.

The new chapter of the popular TV show will run for 10 episodes on Sky Comedy from December 9th.

The first two episodes of the show will premiere on 9 December, and the following eight episodes will be available weekly on Thursdays.

And Just Like That... follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis all reprise their roles in the 2000s romance show. They also serve as executive producers.

Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha, has not returned to the show.

She has reportedly been replaced by new character Lisa Todd Wexley, played by Nicole Ari Parker.

The series, which is currently filming, also features Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.

Speaking to Vogue, Sarah Jessica Parker said of the reboot: “I think young women still really relate to this story. It’s about finding friendships that matter, looking for work that fulfills you, and pursuing love, even when it drags you, bloodied, down the street.”

“The writers are skillful about having the characters, whether they’re of colour or not, acknowledge the newness they’re experiencing,” she told the publication.

“But it all fits in with the same beloved tone of the show. The clothes alone are to die for. And let me tell you, there’s still a lot of sex in this version of Sex and the City.
