Ryan Tubridy has revealed that he will be joined by Toy Show favourites Michael Moloney, Saoirse Ruane, and Adam King on this week’s Late Late Show.

The stars will return to the Late Late to update viewers on their lives since their appearances on the heartwarming and emotional Toy Show in November.

Ryan will also share some news about the distribution of funds raised by generous viewers for the RTE Toy Show Appeal, which took in over €6.6 million.

Speaking on his RTE Radio 1 show this morning, the host said: “I’m very excited today because I’m preparing to tell you some news tomorrow night on The Late Late Show about The Toy Show and the remarkable amount of money that you kindly gave to the children of Ireland. We’re putting a bit of shape on that.

“Such a big feeling of gratitude from us to you for all the things you did on that gorgeous night.

He added: “We’ll be joined by Michael and Saoirse and Adam and you’re going to love it. It’s just so warm and un-COVIDy and pleasant and upbeat and optimistic, so we’ll bring you that tomorrow.

Joining the Toy Show stars on Friday is Love Island’s Laura Whitmore, who is due to give birth to her baby girl any week now.

ITV have just confirmed that the reality dating show will return to our screens this summer, but Ryan is curious as to whether the Irish beauty will continue with her presenting duties now that she is expecting.

He said: “Laura Whitmore will likely be on maternity leave and as the voiceover is her husband Ian Sterling, the dynamic duo behind keeping the singletons in check could be a little held up with their new baby duties.

“Why don’t I ask her? She’s on The Late Late Show tomorrow night. I’ll say ‘Laura, what’s happening? What’s going on?’ She’ll give us all the answers.

The star-studded lineup for tomorrow night’s show also boasts singer Una Healy, who will discuss her new music, moving back home to Tipperary with her kids, and the prospect of a The Saturdays reunion.

Dermot O’Leary will also be speaking to Ryan about missing his family in Wexford and how his life has changed since the birth of his son last June.

Dubliner Zoe Holohan will discuss how her life was torn apart during the Greek wildfires of 2018, which claimed the life of her new husband Brian just days into their honeymoon.

Watch The Late Late Show this Friday night at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
