Matthew MacNabb has confirmed his romance with a “well-known” Irish star.
The Downpatrick native shot to fame last summer after joining the Love Island cast for Casa Amor and is now appearing on the latest series of RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars.
And while his quest for love in the Villa was ultimately unsuccessful, he admitted that he’s recently started dating someone that he met through Dancing With The Stars, which is being filmed in Dublin.
“I’ve been dating a few weeks now. It’s early days, so I want to keep it relatively quiet. But she does live in Dublin,” the 26-year-old told the Irish Mail On Sunday.

Matthew didn’t reveal the identity of the lucky lady, but said: “She is well known – we met through the show [Dancing With The Stars].”
His dance partner, Dublin native Laura Nolan, recently confirmed that she is also seeing someone, and fans are speculating that the pair have gotten together.
Matthew previously admitted that his dating life changed drastically since he made his reality TV debut on Love Island last July.
“Dating life for me is just a weird mix of whatever happens, happens,” he explained.

“I just go with the flow and see how things go. It’s a little bit tougher to date girls online and stuff now.
“Before Love Island, I’d just go on Hinge, but now obviously I can’t do that.
“Over Instagram DMs, you have to be a lot more careful. You don’t know who could be trying to trick you. So it’s a bit different now,” he added.
