RTÉ presenter Lottie Ryan has told how she experienced “complications” during her pregnancy but that mother and child are now doing well.
During an Instagram Q&A with her followers, Lottie also revealed she was feeling both excited and nervous as she approaches her due date.
“Pregnancy is good and I am good thank you,” she said to one follower. “It hasn't been that way the whole way through, we've had complications but thankfully myself and baby are very healthy and very well so I'm very lucky.
“I'm nervous but I'm more excited than I am nervous so it's mixed emotions. Everyday is different but overall just excited.”
She also revealed she struggled with morning sickness - and advised anyone else who did to go to their doctor.

“I was very sick but what I will say is every pregnancy is different. So you need to talk to your GP or midwife because that's what I did and it was the best thing so talk to someone.”
Lottie is currently in her third trimester though she did not disclose when the baby is due.
The 2FM presenter revealed earlier this year that she was expecting her first child with husband Fabio Aprile.
