Here is everyone set to appear on the show this year:

Broadcaster and ex-BBC Breakfast Host – Louise Minchin

Terrified of small, enclosed spaces with cockroaches and spiders, ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise wants to show off her fun side, rather than the serious news presenter.

“Going on I’m A Celebrity is a big adventure,” the 53-year-old said.

“It is very different to sitting on the BBC Breakfast sofa and it will be scary and daunting but it will also be lots of fun.”

“I’ve driven past the Castle quite a few times and I am really excited for it to be in Wales again. This time last year I had a broken ankle and I literally sat on the sofa at home watching every single minute of it thinking, ‘Oh my gosh that Castle looks incredible, one day I would love to be part of it’ and now I am!”

Olympic Gold Medallist – Matty Lee

23-year-old Matty Lee is set to head into the castle. With a fear of rats, Matty says Will Smith and Ed Sheeran would be his dream campers.

He won Gold at the 2020 Toyko Olympics alongside his diving partyTom Daley and was approached about the show after he arrived back in the UK following the competition.

“Nothing ever prepares you for what life will be like after you do well in the Olympics. I was and still am mainly in shock that I am doing I’m A Celebrity. My two childhood dreams were to win an Olympic medal and take part in my favourite TV series. And now I am doing both this year!” he said.

“When I told Tom, he was in shock! He is so excited for me and he has always been so supportive and helped me a lot over the past three years. He gives me advice about anything whether it is relationships or whatever - I always ask Tom.”

Radio 1Xtra DJ – Snoochie Shy

29-year-old Snoochie Shy says he role in the camp will be teaching everyone in the camp how to twerk.

When it comes to camp nerves, Snoochie says she is worried about not wearing make-up as it is the first time she will be seen with a birthmark on her face in public:

“I am a little bit nervous about it,” she admitted. “People other than my family don’t know I have a birthmark on the right side of my cheek and so it will be the first time I am letting people know I have one. It has been an insecurity of mine in the past but I am also excited to face up to it.”

TV Presenter and Journalist – Richard Madeley

“I don’t worry about what people think,” says 65-year-old Richard Madeley of what misconception about himself he wants to dispel in camp.

Speaking about what he will miss most while in camp, Richard said caffeine and the news.

“I am a total news junkie and whereas others will be worrying about withdrawing from caffeine, my withdrawal symptoms are going to be about not knowing what the hell is going on! I feel I will be a bit jumpy at first.”

Choreographer – Dame Arlene Phillips, DBE

Dame Arlene Phillips has said she would like to take on the role of mum in the camp.

The 78-year-old said ahead of the show: “I have never experienced anything like this before, but you only live once and it will be something so different. My family is very split though. It’s a 50/50 split in fact! Some say, ‘Totally don’t do it’ whilst others say, ‘Oh it will be fine’.”

“Aside from my family, I will really miss my notepad and pencil. I’ve always got ideas spinning around!”

Music Producer– Naughty Boy

Music producer Naughty Boy has worked with everyone from Beyonce and Joe Jonas to Alexandra Burke and Lily Allen.

“I am excited about going on I’m A Celebrity now,” he said ahead of entering the Welsh castle.

“I want people to know the real me. I am not a celebrity at all. My music is the celebrity and now is the chance for me to show people what I am really like.”

“I am most looking forward to learning about myself,” he said.

“I don’t know what people in the music industry will think about me being in the Castle but having a break from everything is something I think everyone should have and do once a year. I love my friends and family, but I think it is good to have a break and time out.”

Paralympic Gold Medallist– Kadeena Cox, MBE

30-year-old Kadeena Cox is a four time paralympic Gold champion. Diagnosed with MS in 2014, the sports star said she will most miss her dog and her mum.

“Going on I’m A Celebrity is something so different for me and it’s completely out of my comfort zone”, she said.

“As a Paralympian, you are always trying to get that one per cent extra all the time and defending my title earlier this year in Tokyo was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I think going into the Castle is going to be far harder mentally.”

““I am scared of spiders, I don’t like rats, I don’t like snakes, and I don’t like heights. But I am hoping the athlete in me will want to do it for the team and just get through that tough moment. I will scream afterwards!”

Football Legend – David Ginola

A former player for Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspurs, 54-year-old David said he is looking forward to the experience.

“It is starting to sink in now that I am doing I’m A Celebrity. When I got offered the chance to do the programme, I thought ‘why not’. It’s going to be a great experience and it’s the chance to spend three weeks in the Castle doing things you have never done in your life.”

“I am curious to see how I will be outside my comfort zone too. I am hoping to get only good things out of it.”

Pop Star and Presenter – Frankie Bridge

Former The Saturday’s singer Frankie said that ever since husband Wayne participated on the show in 2016 that he has been desperate for her to do it too.

“Ever since Wayne took part, he has been desperate for me to do it too and he can’t wait to watch me squirm and scream!”

“My kids are still quite young, and they still think I am quite cool – so there is a very small window for them to watch it and not be embarrassed! I feel now is the time. I love the show so much too.”

“I love being in new situations and I know you will come out with a bond (with the other campmates) that no one else will have. I love the idea of that.”

Emmerdale Star – Danny Miller

Emmerdale actor Danny Miller said that he agonised over his decision to appear on the TV show as he just recently became a father.

“I knew my baby would only be about a month old when I went into the Castle. I was worried about leaving the baby with Steph on her own but she is a midwife and I know our baby will be in perfect hands. She has been incredibly supportive and she knows what a great opportunity this is to take part.”

“And so after lots of discussions, I’ve said yes! I’m A Celebrity is the biggest show in the country and I want to show people what I am like as Danny rather than as Aaron. It will be nice for people to see me not crying but having a laugh! I am a fun guy at home and I’ve been known as Aaron now for 13 years – it’s good to step outside your comfort zone.”
