Fr Liam finds himself having to choose between love and the Lord in this week’s Fair City.

The priest has stirred things up since he arrived in town and viewers were last week hooked when things got steamy with Carol.

Sunday’s episode saw Liam and Carol sleep together, and Carol later confessed her sins to Nora but begged her not to say anything.

However, in this week’s trip to Carrigstown, Nora confronts Liam about his relationship with Carol, leading him to question himself and his actions. After going off the grid and ignoring Carol’s calls, he decides to seek counsel from elsewhere.

A sneak peek preview of Wednesday night’s episode shows the troubled cleric paying a visit to Fr Art, who knowingly says: “You didn’t phone me to chat about London and football.”

A distressed Liam hesitantly replies: “I think I may have fallen in love.”

Meanwhile, Juliet’s sugar daddy business hits some obstacles and puts dents in her relationships.

Amy tries to manipulate the teenager into doing her dirty work, and when she doesn’t get what she wants, she turns Juliet's influencer friends against her.

Mondo misconstrues Juliet’s social media and fails to reassure Alex when he describes it as “funny.”

Later, Mondo, oblivious to Juliet’s real connection to sugar daddy James, warns her that James may want something in return for helping her.

Juliet continues to refuse to listen to Alex’s concerns about James.

Juliet also asks for help from James - much to his annoyance - and begs him to tag her in social media posts.

“Could you tag me again? That really helped,” the teenager asks in a promo video for this week.

“I don’t think so,” James says, to which Juliet replies, “Why not?”

Her sugar daddy shrugs: “I’m here to help not hold your hand. I’m not your boyfriend, sorry.”
