First images of Lily James as Pamela Anderson in new series Pam & Tommy

The series, called Pam & Tommy, will recall how the Baywatch star and rocker Tommy Lee became the stars of the first ever sex tape that became a viral sensation.

While telling the story of the notorious tape, the series will also recall their colourful relationship, which started with them marrying four days after meeting in 1995.

The tape became the subject of a major legal dispute before the couple ultimately made a confidential settlement with distribution company, Internet Entertainment Group.

Top English actress James has been cast as Anderson in the eight-part series, with Sebastian Stan as Lee and other cast members including Seth Rogen and Taylor Schilling.
