Rented for TV Fancy Lodging like Lucy Kennedy? Posh pile is yours for €2,450 a week
For weeks the public has been speculating on the location for Lucy Kennedy’s Covid-friendly TV series, Lodging with Lucy.
Many viewers came to the conclusion that the TV presenter and her family owned the country estate that has housed the likes of Paul McGrath, Mario Rosenstock and Twink.
Even the Cabra Goggleboxers, Lindsay and Ashley Gallagher, were adamant on Wednesday’s show that the country pile was where Lucy and her husband Richard Governey and their three children, Holly, Jack and baby Jessica live.
But speaking to the Sunday World, Lucy was quick to pour cold water on the speculation.
“There is a rumour doing the rounds that the Lodging with Lucy house is mine.
“I can unfortunately confirm that it is not. We rented a fabulous country home in Co Meath and it is amazing and beautifully renovated but, sadly, it's not my home.”
The five-star country property is in fact Denderry stud and country house and can be rented out by the public for €2,450 per week.
If that is a little too pricey you can look at booking a weekend or a mid-week stay for €1,500 - which is just €136 per person.
While you won’t get the use of Lucy’s private chef, the talented Nick Reynolds, however, you do get he full use of the five bedroomed house and gardens.
Once a working stud farm, with a large mature garden, the entire property has been updated and revamped in to a large family retreat.
Located in rural Meath, Dunderry stud lies in the heart of the Boyne Valley.
And those looking to plan their next staycation for when lockdown is lifted, could enjoy the pampered surroundings that the celebrities enjoyed during filming of this hit show.
According to the property’s website you can sleep eleven people across the five bedrooms and you have full use of the drawing room, dining room, library and kitchen with breakfast room.
There is also a bespoke herb garden with a barbecue patio complete with a state of the art gas BBQ.
