The Coronas have announced their return to live indoor gigs with two Dublin dates this December.

The band will perform two shows at the iconic Olympia Theatre in Dublin’s city centre on the 18th and 19th December.

Tickets for the gigs go on sale next Thursday, September 9, and are priced from €39.90.

Announcing their return to indoor concerts, the band shared a photo of their True Love Waited tour poster with the caption: “True Love Waited…

The Coronas were originally meant to go on a world tour in 2020, but plans were scrapped when the pandemic hit in March.

The Dublin trio, now left with an unfortunate band name, focused their energy on working on their fifth studio album, True Love Waits, which became the fastest selling Irish album of 2020 after its release last August.

The album managed to secure the number 1 spot in the album charts, outperforming the likes of Taylor Swift and Grammy nominees Fontaines DC.

It comes after The Coronas were included in the lineup for Sea Sessions’ ‘September Sessions’, a series of five intimate concerts set to take place in Bundoran this month.

The Coronas were announced among musicians such as Gavin James, Lyra, Bell X1, Moncrieff, Royseven, Róisín O, and Thumper for the concerts, which will take place on the grounds of The Great Northern Hotel in Donegal.
