Snoop Dogg will play a concert in Co Kerry later this year.

Off the back of his Superbowl Halftime Show performance on Sunday, the hip-hop legend is bringing his ‘I Wanna Thank Me Tour’ - which is named after his 17th studio album and documentary – to Ireland.

The US rapper will perform at the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney on Saturday, September 17th.

As well as his stop in Kerry, Snoop will also visit the 3Arena in Dublin on September 19th and the SSE Arena in Belfast on September 16th as part of the UK and Ireland leg of the tour.

Snoop Dogg will also bring a host of collaborators with him on stage, including West Coast hip hop royalty Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, D12, and Irish duo Versatile.

Tickets to see the Doggfather in Killarney begin at €116 a ticket, with some cheaper resale options already on offer for around €100.

All tickets purchased for the rescheduled 2020/2021 tour will remain valid for 2022.

The dates had previously been rescheduled last October due to Covid conerns, with Snoop Dogg releasing a statement about the decision at the time.

He said: “My biggest priority is to keep my team and my fans safe, due to ongoing issues with the pandemic we have to push back again to make sure we can go to every country on the tour in a safe way. IT’S GOIN' DOWN IN SEPTEMBER!”
