Madonna labelled 'classless' for raunchy bedroom lingerie snaps

The 63-year-old singer shared the photos – in which she posed in lingerie, stocking, and black Louboutin stilettos on her bed – with her 16.9 million followers on Wednesday.

Among the provocative snaps, the Michigan native exposed her bottom and flashed her nipple through her bra before posing completely shirtless in her bedroom.

In the post's caption, Madonna wrote: “Angel watching over Me.”

The Like A Virgin musician also shared the same photos to her Instagram Stories, where she included a quote from American poet Mary Oliver, which read: “Beauty without purpose is beauty without virtue but all beautiful things have this function — to excite the viewers toward sublime thought. Glory to the world, that good teacher.”

While many of the comments under the singer’s post hailed her as “hot and shameless,” other fans were less than impressed.

One user wrote: “Why babe why!!!???! You are better than this!”

Another said: “Stop showing your ass, we've seen plenty of it with the Sex book and it was brave then. Now it's just classless and it has nothing to do with your age...”

A third commenter slammed Madonna for overediting her photos, saying: “Madonna I love you but we all know you are using enhanced facial apps.

"What kind of message are you sending to people who are body conscious and ashamed of growing older?!

"It’s unrealistic and quite frankly fake AF. Show your natural, honest beauty and let go of these ridiculous facial apps.”

Another fan told the singer that she didn’t have to strip down to stay relevant, writing: “Madonna. I’m speaking to you from the last century. STOP ALREADY. Retire and be the queen you are.

"I’m your age and you look ridiculous and your face is obviously no longer yours, though still beautiful. You have kids! What are you doing?
