Singer Imelda May has announced Irish dates for her upcoming tour promoting her new album ‘11 Past the Hour.’

The ‘Made To Love’ tour will visit Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, Drogheda’s TLT, the University Concert Hall in Limerick, Killarney’s INEC, the Cork Opera House, and finish with a three-day slot in Dublin’s popular Vicar St venue.

Imelda will also take her shows overseas, with concerts lined up for twelve additional cities in the UK including London, Manchester, and Glasgow.

The tour will begin in Birmingham on 4th April 2022 and end on 15th May in Dublin with tickets going on sale this Friday 16th April 2021 at 10am.

The 46-year-old took to Instagram to announce her upcoming tour dates and couldn’t contain her excitement.

She wrote: “I cannot wait to see you all again when I tour next April!!! To dance and sing together, to connect and feel the sparkle in a room where music makes us feel alive and elevated for a while.

“A magical feeling we can only get from live music... Lets go!!!” the singer added.

The Liberties native will be performing hits from her sixth studio album ‘11 Past the Hour’ in concert - her first new music in four years - which features collaborations with Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, Miles Kane, and pal Noel Gallagher.

Oasis member Noel appears on Imelda’s track ‘Just One Kiss’, and she said his “sexy” and “raspy” voice was a perfect addition to the song.

She revealed last month: “I was wanting to ask Noel to sing with me on this song because I just thought he would be brilliant. I love his voice. I love his vibe.

‘Just One Kiss’ is about lustful love, so I knew his raspy voice would work.

“It needed a sexy voice to add to the sexy vibe on that song. I know he’s brilliant, so I was delighted he said yes.”
