Denise Chaila will headline the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin next year.

The Irish-Zambian rapper and singer will play the popular Dame Street venue, which has recently rebranded to the 3Olympia Theatre, on Friday 25th February 2022.

Set to be one of 2022’s standout shows, tickets cost €22 and go on sale at 10am this Friday 24th September.

The gig will be Denise’s biggest headline show to date after rising to fame with her hit single ‘Chaila’ last year.

The Limerick native also went on to take home Ireland’s highest music award, the Choice Music Prize album of the year award, for her debut mixtape ‘Go Bravely.’

Her recent rise to prominence has seen her discuss issues of identity, race, and displacement with President Michael D Higgins, bring rap to the stage of the National Concert Hall, have her music praised by the likes of NME and Fader, and fight for artists’ rights as a member of Ireland’s Arts and Culture Recovery Taskforce.

The Guardian named Denise as “one to watch” earlier this year, saying: “With deft, immersive production, Chaila’s slick delivery shines through, her voice exuding confidence amid rap brags and references to mythology, mental health and being ‘the black James Bond.’ ”
