Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old said she has a “warm f**king fuzzy feeling” after escaping her conservatorship.
“That beautiful … nice … and warm f**ing fuzzy feeling when you’ve been waiting patiently for 13 years to be able to live your life however you choose and it’s finally here.”
“Lighting my candles sure is a joy folks and you might be surprised cause my prayers are pretty damn powerful ESPECIALLY when you’re on the right medication just a month ago. Damn I can actually pray it feels so good to just BE HERE,” she said, revealing she was only put on the right medication a month ago.
“I’M HERE … thanks to no doctor or conservatorship people … good God my friends … it’s good to BE HERE and be PRESENT,” she said.
“Since I can actually PRAY now hopefully in just 3 months there will be a shift for me … I mean who knows … I’m not gonna thank anyone I’m gonna pull a @snoopdogg and say I thank ME for believing in ME.”
“Let's watch watch watch some TV folks,” she concluded the post which accompanied a picture of a lit, festive fireplace.
In June of this year, during a court hearing regarding her conservatorship, Britney told the Judge presiding over her case that she was forced to take Lithium by against her will.
Britney followed the candid post with four additional Instagram posts where she shared snaps of herself, writing: “Pics from last year I’ve never used before”
She also shared a comedy sketch of herself poking fun at how busy she was before the pandemic hit.
Another post showed dancer Ahlamalik Williams, with Britney commenting: “It's like I’m in a dream watching this guy dance… holy shit !!!! Like wow wow wow wow.”
In another video, Britney shared a routine she choreographed herself, and opened up further, revealing she was on a “diet” after Thanksgiving.
“Here’s my red snake top … and @BillieEilish at the end !!!! I wanted to feel graceful yesterday …. I’m on a diet for a while …. after gobble gobble day,” she wrote.
“So excited for the New Year!!!! Are you guys ???”
Britney then went on to discuss fasting and how it is a spiritual experience for her.
“I wanna talk about fasting !!! A lot of people I’ve spoken to are against it … the longest I’ve gone is 4 days including snacks here and there … I will admit I was extremely hungry at the end but I did experience the most amazing high I’ve ever witnessed with no food.”
The singer went on to promise fans she was not promoting hunger, but rather clarity.
“You get it how you get it … you know ??? In some religions they fast all the time !!! Anyways … I like challenges they bring value,” she said, adding: “What do you value in your life and how do you want to do better as a person in the future ??? Things to think about going forward… God bless !!!!”
The superstar, who is set to celebrate her 40th birthday this week, was released from an almost 14 year legal agreement which left Britney without control over her finances and much of her personal life.
