Westlife have sent fans across the globe into a frenzy after teasing a brand new track.

The band – which consists of Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily – revealed back in August that they had wrapped up recording their 12th studio album and announced that it would be released within the next few months.

Today, the band revealed that fans would be getting to hear some new music very soon with a series of teaser videos on social media.

Taking to their joint Instagram account, the group shared a 13 second clip of some pink clouds and some instrumental music with the caption: “Could it be, could it be the start of something…?”

They then posted videos of each of the lads reacting to the first line of the song, starting with Nicky, who recorded himself nodding along to the track with some sunglasses on.

“All will be revealed this Wednesday,” he wrote.

Next up was a video of Mark, who filmed his computer screen and showed that their new single was lying in a folder on his desktop called WL – NEW SINGLE.

“Hi everybody. What’s this over here? Oh, Westlife new single. Notice that I’m not giving anything away with the title,” he said before writing: “New music coming.”

And Shane also posted a clip of him listening to the band’s new track while wearing a black suit.

His video was captioned: “Our next single! Find out more tomorrow.”

Finally, former I’m A Celeb winner Kian Egan shared a video of him enjoying the track saying: “What is that? Could it be?”
