Prison Break star Dominic Purcell enjoys a pint with his 'beautiful' step-dad in Co Louth pub

Dominic and his step-dad enjoy a pint in Brian Muldoon and Sons in Ardee
Prison Break star Dominic Purcell has paid a touching tribute to his step-dad as he enjoyed a pint in local Co Louth watering hole Brian Muldoon and Sons in Ardee.
The actor dedicated his post to his step-father during a visit to his mum’s home town that included a picture showing him smiling and wearing a cap on his head and a white shirt.
The 51-year-old, who plays Lincoln in Prison Break, wrote in the caption of his post: “One of the most sincere, honest and loving gentlemen you’d ever hope [to] meet. My stepfather.
“He took up the slack — looked after me (12), mum, and my four siblings — 4 wild kids. Crazy wild kids!
“Just a beautiful human being. A very special man. A man’s man. (saved me from a lot of trouble). Love ya dad. #dad #muldoonsirishpub #ireland.”

Dominic is just the latest Hollywood guest who touched down in Ireland recently.
Earlier this summer, Patrick Dempsey took in some of the country's best-known sites while filming Disney's Disenchanted.
The Grey's Anatomy star returned back to the States at the beginning of August and he spent his final day visiting a cancer support centre.
The actor told his former co-star Ellen Pompeo on her podcast: "Oh, I fell in love with the place.
“I was everywhere, any chance I got. I ended up staying in the north of Ireland, which was fascinating, I learned a lot up there.
"And then I was in nature, so it was the Spring of the year, and you have all the lambs, cows, and the calves and everything.
"It’s everything you would imagine it to be. The people are great."
Matt Damon famously spent two months in lockdown with his family here in 2020 when he flew in to get an early start on his film The Last Duel.
After flying back to the States, Matt later returned in September 2020 with Adam Driver, Ben Affleck, and Jodie Comer by his side to film the blockbuster flick in Cahir, Co Tipperary.
In 2021, other Hollywood stars flew in to film their own projects. These included Florence Pugh for her film The Wonder, as well as Amy Adams, and Maya Rudolph who joined Dempsey for Disney’s Disenchanted.
Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson also arrived in Ireland this summer to join Elizabeth Banks for the filming of her upcoming movie Cocaine Bear.
Meanwhile, his TV co-star Sofia Vergara opted for a more romantic visit with her husband and their pet chihuahua.
