Love Island runner up Toby Aromoloran has said that he’s planning a trip to Ireland with his girlfriend Chloe Burrows.

Viewers of the popular reality dating show were both shocked and delighted to discover that Toby’s mum hailed from Mayo when she visited him in the villa.

Now, fan favourites Chloe and Toby have revealed that a trip to the Emerald Isle is definitely on the cards for them.

Taking to Instagram to answer some fan questions, 22-year-old Toby said: “I can’t believe no one knew I was Irish, to be honest. When we get time, me and Chloe are going to go to Ireland. We’re going to Ireland.”

Chloe, who was sitting in the driver’s seat beside him, agreed: “We’re going to Ireland. To the Guinness place.”

Toby, unimpressed that Chloe would suggest Dublin over his home county, clarified: “We’re going to Mayo.”

“See you in Mayo,” he added.

Chloe and Toby were finalists in this year’s Love Island and placed second after losing the crown to winners Liam Reardon and Millie Court.

The pair are still getting used to their newfound fame after appearing on the show, but Toby’s Irish Mammy Victoria is keen to get the couple over to Ireland once things die down a bit.

Speaking to Newstalk Breakfast, she said: “I believe that when everything is done, we’ll get the opportunity to go home and just relax a little bit and just spend some quality time together.

“And hopefully we’ll bring Chloe along with us and show her a little bit of Ireland for herself and Toby to relax.

“I think we’ll try and urge him to follow me home and it’s much quieter and hopefully we can bring Chloe along with us and show her a bit of his Irish side.”
