Westlife have quipped that they will broker a peace deal between warring WAGs Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy - by inviting both of them to their forthcoming concert.

Both women are big fans of the Irish group, who are about to return to the music scene with a newly released album.

The boys have vowed to invite both Coleen and Rebekah to their Wembley Stadium gig next summer.

“We will be inviting Wagatha Christie. They are both more than welcome to come,” Mark Fehilly told The Mirror.

“We will be like the UN. We would love to be involved in them making peace with each other. Westlife’s music has played a big part in many people’s marriages, break-ups, christenings and funerals, so who knows?”

Both women are currently involved in a legal battle after Coleen publicly claimed that Rebekah leaked stories about her to the media.

Rebekah denies the accusations and has initiated a libel action against Coleen.

The group has recently released Wild Dreams, their twelfth album and the second since they reunited in 2019.

Most of the album was recorded during lockdown using special equipment for the band to record their vocals at home.

The band are hopeful of a chart-topper but Nicky Byrne added: “No one can compete with Adele, not even Ed Sheeran”.
