Westlife add another Aviva Stadium show after first sells out

The megastars announced their massive UK and Ireland tour, ‘The Wild Dreams tour’, for 2022. They are now set to play the Aviva stadium on Friday, July 8th, and Saturday, July 9th. Their 8th of July show went on sale this morning and sold out immediately leaving fans disappointed.

Tickets for a second date quickly went on sale after huge demand.

Mark, Nicky, Shane and Kian will also Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on August 12th and 13th.

They’re also due to play London’s Wembley Stadium on August 6th, as well as a whole host of venues across the UK.

Fans will have the opportunity to see the famous foursome perform their biggest and greatest hits like ‘Swear it Again’, ‘Flying Without Wings’, and ‘World of Our Own’, as well as tracks from their upcoming album ‘Wild Dreams’.

“We are incredibly excited to announce news of The Wild Dreams Tour and to finally get back performing to all of our fans at the UK’s and Ireland’s biggest venues,” they said.

“After the last 18 months, this tour means more to us than any that we’ve ever done before. It will be a massive celebration and will bring us closer to our fans than ever before. We’re planning some spectacular shows which will include all of our greatest hits and some special surprises.”

The group released their latest single, 'Starlight', in October. Their 12th studio album ‘Wild Dreams’ is set to be released on November 26th. The record which includes 11 brand new songs was written and recorded over an 18 month period.

One track on the album, My Hero, was co-written by Ed Sheeran. Irish singer-songwriters Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford of Picture This and Steve Garrigan of Kodaline also have writing credits on the album contributing to ‘Alive’, ‘End Of Time’, and ‘Always With Me’.
