Vogue Williams has recalled the “awful” time that she had to drink her own pee on television.

Speaking to Joanne McNally on their podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, the 35-year-old was forced to relive the traumatic experience after Joanne joked that the duo should start selling their urine.

“I would say you could sell your urine,” Joanne said. “I’d say you could bottle it and sell it like some alpine refresh rejuvenation.”

Joanne’s comment prompted Vogue to recall her experience on ITV’s Bear Grylls: Mission Survive in 2015.

The mum-of-two said: “I've drank [my own urine]. Do you remember I drank it?

“God, that really tasted bad and I really tried to make that a nice wee, I had like three litres of water, tested out a couple of wees before, had my third wee - tasted awful.

“I would never drink my own wee again.”

Joanne joked: “I have this image of you doing a wine tasting event that you're like, ‘Mmm, wisps of honeysuckle.’”

Vogue clarified: “People are probably wondering why I drank my own wee, I don't just do it all the time!

“I did a show with Bear Grylls and he told me to drink my wee so I drank my wee!” she laughed.

The Dubliner won her series of Bear Grylls: Mission Survive back in 2015, beating athlete Kelly Holmes and rugby player Mike Tindall.

At the time, she expressed her disbelief after winning the survival show, saying: “I’m really shocked I won the series. I used to win races at school but that’s it apart from that. I have always been competitive though.
