Vogue Williams' first 'proper' date with Spencer Matthews was magical Disneyland trip

The mum-of-three said that it was the first trip that the couple had ever been on together but admitted that it was never intended to be a romantic outing.

In fact, it was actually meant to be a girls trip for Vogue and her pals but Spencer ended up crashing the party.

“He likes to claim it was our first date [but] I organised it,” the Dubliner told host Giovanna Fletcher on Disney’s Journey to the Magic podcast.

Astonished, Giovanna responded: “First date?”

Vogue continued: “Yeah, our first proper date. Our first holiday that we ever had together.

“It's kind of complicated because we went away, and we did the show [Channel 4’s The Jump] together and that was in November.

“I was quite happy being single and then eventually by March we were a proper couple and that’s when we went to Disney, so that was our first proper holiday away.

“I had 3 friends with me as well. It’s so fun to go with your pals because there’s so much on at night. The light show at the castle is just incredible.

“This is the funny thing about Disneyland Paris; you’d always think it’s for kids! We had such a laugh the last time we went there and it was just great craic,” she added.

The TV presenter is a self-confessed Disney fanatic and was recently spotted at Disneyland Paris with their children Theodore (3) and Gigi (1) just before she gave birth to the couple’s third child Otto, who was born on Easter Monday.

Taking to Instagram, she shared snaps of her little ones having a ball on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups before they defied gravity on the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride.

She captioned these posts, writing: “What a weekend!!! We got invited to the 30th anniversary of @disneylandparis @disneyparksuk which was a very different trip to when we came as a new couple on the 25th anniversary!

“The kids LOVED it, I had a lot of questions about their age, it was perfect for T and I was actually surprised at how much there was for Gigi to do.

“I am v pregnant but could do all the rides they could, we didn’t even get through all the ones we could go on.

“So much to do, we arrived Friday afternoon and left at 12.30 today which felt like the perfect amount of time.

“Kids delighted, parents wrecked, a fab little trip away before number three arrives! Thank you @disneyparksuk for the most memorable trip!”
