Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have hit back at trolls who criticised their son’s princess-themed birthday bash.

The couple welcomed their firstborn Theodore on September 5th 2018, and threw him a Frozen party over the weekend ahead of his third birthday.

The party, which took place in Spencer and Vogue’s Howth mansion, included a Frozen cake, a Frozen bouncy castle, and life-size balloons of the film’s main characters Elsa, Anna, and Olaf.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Spencer & Vogue podcast, Vogue revealed that she has received messages from trolls about Theodore’s party.

She explained: “It was a Frozen party. I actually got a mail off somebody who said, ‘Why is your son having a princess party? I thought he was a boy.’”

Spencer replied: “Yeah well guess what? We believe in equal rights for men and women. A*****e.”

Vogue added: “Yeah and if he likes a princess, if he wants to be a princess, he can be a princess. He’s got four Elsa Barbie dolls.

Spencer explained: “He doesn’t want to be a princess, he fancies Elsa. It’s different.”

Vogue agreed, saying: “Oh God, he really fancies Elsa.”

Spencer then told listeners that his son’s party was his “peak of the week.”

“He hasn’t actually turned three yet. But I have to say, the closest thing to the party that we threw for him here in Ireland would probably be Disneyworld,” the former Made in Chelsea star said.

Vogue interjected: “When you say we... Mama organised everything. You made a cheese sandwich on the day of the party.”

Protesting, Spencer replied: “You thanked me profusely for my help. I did a whole loaf! And by the way, it was ham and cheese, and cheese, and just ham. So, there were three variants and I arranged them in a rather beautiful pyramid.

“None of the kids ate any of them,” he added. “I’ve actually never seen so many children in one place. It was like an ant farm.”

The couple are also parents to one-year-old Gigi, who they welcomed in July last year.
