Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally have teased their plans to go on tour next year.

The pair have been recording their hugely successful My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast together since last April.

The show, which was born out of the pandemic, has taken the top spot on the Irish podcast charts for several weeks and the Dubliners have hinted that they might take things one step further by bringing My Therapist Ghosted Me on tour.

The TV presenter and comedian appeared on The Tommy Tiernan Show together on Saturday to talk about plans to do some live podcast gigs.

Speaking about the podcast’s success, Joanne said: “I think I did well out of lockdown really, as in before lockdown I was just gigging, I wasn’t doing podcasts, so I was only recruiting people through gigs, which is very time consuming.

“So then when the lockdown started, I had to pivot into something else and then we did the podcast.

“We’re supposed to be going on tour with the podcast next year,” she added.

Vogue, who’s expecting her third child with husband Spencer Matthews next month, said she’d find working more closely with Joanne very easy because the pair get along so well.

“We're talking about doing a tour and we're talking about doing other stuff together,” she said.

“If you find somebody you really love working with, especially in TV when the hours are long and the days can be that you're waiting around for hours, it’s great to keep that going.”

The podcasts hosts also told Tommy about how they became close pals.

“We were in a Venn diagram of people without actually being in the same section,” Joanne shared.

Vogue chimed in: "Then Joanne was moving to London and came and stayed in my house for a couple of weeks and that's how we became really good friends.”
