Una Healy has had a very exciting weekend after celebrating her 40th birthday and her daughter Aoife Belle’s First Holy Communion.

The singer and former member of The Saturdays shared some photos of her eventful Saturday on Instagram, starting with some snaps from Aoife’s big day.

The nine-year-old, who is Una's first child from her marriage to ex Ben Foden, finally got to make her First Communion yesterday after services were delayed earlier this year due to Covid restrictions.

Una took to Instagram to share some lovely memories from the day, including a video showing off some of Aoife’s cards, her rosary beads, a missal, and a prayer candle.

She also posted a clip of her daughter admiring herself in the mirror wearing her adorable white dress, complete with matching gloves, a small bag, and a tiara.

The Tipperary native also ordered a special decorative display to mark the occasion, with some colourful balloons attached to a sign that read ‘Aoife Belle’s Communion.’

Una then uploaded a clip from inside the chapel before the ceremony began, which took place in the Cathedral of the Assumption in Thurles.

Sharing some more photos from her daughter’s Communion – including a gorgeous photo of Aoife and Tadhg together – Una wrote: “Happy First Holy Communion to my darling girl Aoife Belle.”

She then had a quick outfit change as she made her way to the capital to celebrate her 40th birthday at House Dublin on Leeson Street.

The musician wore a sparkly pink Nadine Merabi dress with a feather trim paired with some of her Una Healy collection heels.

And it seems Una splashed out on her birthday outfit as the luxury dress alone costs €345.
