'utterly gorgeous' Throwback picture of 'babe magnet' Pat Kenny aged 25 sends social media into frenzy
A throwback picture of Pat Kenny at 25-years-old has sent social media users into a frenzy, with some deeming the broadcaster a "babe magnet."
The 1973 snap of the former RTÉ presenter has been doing the rounds on Twitter after being dug out from the national broadcaster's archives.
Commentators say Kenny's long brown hair, moustache, trendy shirt and sweater vest combo makes him almost unrecognisable in the image.

Others fawned over a young Kenny, with one person questioning, "How was he single for so long? ..... babe magnet."
Another said: "o my - he was utterly gorgeous."
Kenny, who worked for RTÉ for 41 years before leaving in 2013, recently told Independent.ie he has no regrets about leaving the national broadcaster and does not plan to retire from his Newstalk show any time soon.
"I made a conscious decision to leave and when you look back you think, 'If I'd made the pension contributions [of an RTE staff job], I'd be very comfortable now, thanks very much, and have a very fat pension, but that is the bargain you make," he said.
"Stay on staff, be comfortable, have a pension, but then, at 65, that's it."
"I like being busy," he added. "So as long as the public want me, I'll stay. It's the public who fire you, but you don't necessarily want to whimper out of the place, or have people whispering, 'Ugh, he's not on top of his game any more.'"
